Needless to say, this was NOT done en plein air, given the cold weather we're having here in Montreal.  I took a photo with my trusty iPhone and worked from the photo in the warmth of my home!

I painted this from a photograph.  In this heat my mind is wandering to all things winter!  Not exactly what you would call being "in the moment!"
